Welcome on Board!
Ms Sanderson, right on timeI`m John Ellison Smith, Managing director
Please callme John
Please take a seat
Now .. from what I've been told, yourinterview was fantastic and your CV is First rate
well, I'd like to chat in general about the forst project you'll be envolved in. What have you
been told so far?
Well, John, I know that Yamaguchi Electronics is looking for a company to handle sales
of a mobile phone with GPS technology - in Latin Americ, and they've sent us a RFP (Request For Proposal)
So we're putting in a tender and as Head of Sales fo LA, it'll be my job to write the proposal.
I was quite successful as Sales Manager when I was in charge of most of the Latin A. market, so I want to assure you that I can handle the preparation of this proposal to your fullest.
Satisfaction? We're counting on it, Gill, and we have the utmost confidence in you and in your qualifications.
Gill, you can't be an expert in every area. We're going to outsource Nora Moorhose as the tecgnology expert for te proposal
I have heard of Nora. She was a consultant with Beacon when I was the Sales Manager. She's supposed to be really good. It`s nice to know there will be someone to help me meet the deadline.
Exactly, we expect to get this job donde well and done on time.
Her background in that area is solid. You'll make a great team, I'm sure of it. I'm going to sign a contrat with her tomorrow, and I'd like you to meet her. The two of you should set up a meeting to disscuss the proposal in depth on Wednesday
Thank you.
